MA, Registered Psychotherapist

After teaching preschool and kindergarten for 16 years, I became increasingly interested in other ways I could be helpful to families.  I got my Master’s degree in Psychology and worked as an independent parent educator and therapist. Later I became a clinical director at Savio House,a large agency serving at-risk adolescents and their families on the Front Range.

I am trained in a Multi-Systemic therapy, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other evidence-based models. I am grateful that I have had the opportunity to work with children of all ages from infants to teens, and their parents, as well as couples working hard to get the most from their relationships. My husband and I are the parents of three adult children.

At a young age I knew I wanted to help people.  After working in domestic violence shelters and the prison system I realized I wanted to work with families.  I received my Master's degree in marriage and family therapy and am currently a licensed professional counselor in Colorado.

I have worked with at risk adolescents and their families for the last 15 years.  For the last seven years I have been a clinical director at Savio House large agency in Colorado serving high risk adolescents and their families on the Front Range.

I am trained in Multi-Systemic Therapy, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).  As a married mother of two children I believe I bring real life experience mixed with counseling training to help support you in   each and every session.
